Target USA CUP Weather Update for Thursday July 16th 9:30 AM

The tournament will continue with a Black Flag on Thursday July 16th at 9:30 a.m., due to current historic levels of air quality index in the area, games have been suspended for the remainder of the day, to preserve the competitive integrity of the tournament and the safety for all participants/referees/volunteers/spectators/staff.

All remaining preliminary games that were originally scheduled for Wednesday evening (7:00 pm and 8:45pm) and all games scheduled Thursday, will be recorded as 0-0 ties. The schedule will be taken down from the website, while the tournament advances all teams to playoffs and teams will be notified when the schedule for the remainder of the week will be reposted later today.

As a reminder, activities scheduled for this evening (Neon Dance Party for U11-U14 and Coaches Party) will go on as planned.

Activities that take place in the NSC Sports Expo (an indoor facility), the Adidas Super Store, Target Activation and Player Bag Pick Up, and other vendors will be open with modified hours of 2pm to 6pm.

Free Transportation Buses that were offered today to Shopping Centers (Mall of America, Rosedale and Ridgedale), will be available from the University of Minnesota and University of Northwestern starting at 11 am and 12:15 p.m. only. For more information regarding transportation to these, please contact your tournament registration person.

The Medical Clinic will remain closed for the remainder of the day.
