For five players on the U11 girls team from the Thunder Bay Chill, in Ontario, this was their first experience playing in Schwan’s USA CUP and they really enjoyed the experience.
Today, we Kicked Cancer at Schwan’s USA Cup! Kick Cancer has four main charities that we work directly, one of them is the Children’s Cancer Research Fund. One of their workers/volunteers, Ashley Holt works with CCRF at USA Cup. After her son went into remission for 17 months they grew close with the CCRF. She says because USA Cup being such a large scale tournament, they can get awareness out to children and families about children’s cancer.
Kyndra is one of the voices behind Minnesota United FC, and even took part in the Schwan’s USA Cup opening ceremonies just last night. She starred for the University of Minnesota soccer team as a player. Now, you don’t want to miss her commentary as a part of the MNUFC broadcast team.
