Join us on Wednesday, July 19 as we kick cancer for the fifth year in a row. As the largest youth soccer tournament in the Western Hemisphere, we’re using our platform to give back to the community in a big way. Kick Cancer will be raising funds all day and spreading awareness with four hand-selected cancer charities representing their cause at the tournament.
Children’s Cancer Research Fund, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Pennies for Patients, Minnesota Breast Cancer Coalition and Colon Cancer Coalition will all have a presence on campus tomorrow, and players will have the opportunity to raise money for the charity of their choice.
For every goal scored and shutout recorded on Wednesday, USA CUP will donate $1 to Kick Cancer. The player who scored or goalie who earned the shutout gets to choose which organization their dollar goes to. Participants and spectators can also donate to the organization of their choice at the Kick Cancer headquarters or online, and will be entered in a special raffle prize drawing.
An exciting new addition to this year’s Kick Cancer activities is the Nerf Battle Zone, where participants can dodge obstacles and inflatables while competing with friends in a Nerf Battle. Participants are encouraged to donate $10 for the event, as all proceeds will be going toward USA CUP Kick Cancer day.
