In 2021, Target USA CUP will welcome the Quad Cities Rush Soccer Club U12 Boys Team to the National Sports Center. The club hails from Moline, IL, a town near the border of Illinois and Iowa.

The team is comprised of players from eight different cities and two states; Coal Valley, East Moline, Hampton, Moline, Rock Island and Silvis, Illinois as well as Bettendorf and Davenport, Iowa.

While the team boasts a 20-man roster, only 15 players will be traveling to 2021 Target USA CUP.

In fall of 2020, the team took home three tournament championships, and plans to carry that same success into 2021.

While 2021 will be Quad Cities Rush first USA CUP experience, Coach Tavo Garcia has been to the tournament before. In fact, Garcia coached an older girls team to a USA CUP victory in 2011.

The U12 boys are most excited to take a week-long bonding trip together and hope to play one of the many international teams participating in the tournament.
