Coaches, are you short of players due to injury or other commitments? Aren't having any luck finding a player to complete your roster? Then the USA CUP Guest Player Program is for you. It connects coaches with players who want to have the USA CUP experience.

Guest Players Seeking a Team
- » Application deadline is July 6. Only players currently registered with a USSF, US Club Soccer or FIFA affiliated association are eligible.
- » Complete the online application
- » Interested coaches will contact you directly.
- » If you are picked up by a team:
- » Notify guestplayerprogram@nscsports.org immediately for further instructions.
- » Non-Minnesota players must secure permission-to-travel from their state associations or provincial districts. This procedure varies among states and may be in the form of a letter or guest player loan form. Exception: US Club Soccer players.
- » Guest Player Fee: $125. Placement is not guaranteed. Contact guestplayerprogram@nscsports.org for directions.
- » Obtain your player pass from your regular season coach.
- » Your tournament coach will not be able to complete Final Team Check-in without your player pass, causing unnecessary delays. Either get your player pass to the coach prior to Final Team Check-in or check in yourself prior to the coach's arrival at Final Team Check-in.
- » Be prepared with the name of your team and the team's tournament ID number for faster service at Final Team Check-in.
Coaches Seeking Guest Players
- » Coaches seeking guest players should contace the guest player coordinator directly at guestplayerprogram@nscsports.org.
- » You will not be able to complete Final Team Check-in without all player passes, causing unnecessary delays and a return trip to Final Team Check-in; copies of player passes are not accepted.
Guest Player Rules
- » Player must be a registered youth player and possess a current youth player pass.
- » Players that are registered with an adult soccer league but are age eligble must also be registered with MYSA.
- » The tournament(s) are sanctioned for up to 6 guest players per team. Tournament staff cannot authorize additional players. However, it is not uncommon for teams to merge for the purpose of playing in the tournament(s). Contact your state association/provincial district to be reclassified as a tournament team for the purpose of playing in the tournament(s).
- » USYS players may NOT guest play on US Club Soccer teams.
- » US Club Soccer players may NOT guest play on USYS teams.
- » For game format and corresponding roster sizes, review tournament rules.
- » Players may play up or down. A player on a U16 team may also guest play on a U15 team if age eligible.
- » Girls may play on boys’ teams; boys may not play on girls’ teams.
- » Players may guest play or double roster on one team in addition to their primary team, providing they are not playing on a team in the same age bracket and flight.
- » Double rostered players are limited to two per team.
- » International homestay players may not double roster.
- » Games will not be scheduled to accommodate double rostered players.
- » The player fee for a double rostered player must be paid on the player’s primary team; it will be waived on the player’s secondary team.
- » Email registrar@usacup.org with the name of the double rostered player(s) and the name of their primary and secondary teams prior to July 6.
- » Non-Minnesota guest players must secure permission-to-travel from their state associations or provincial districts. This permission varies among states and may be in the form of a letter or guest player form. Exception: US Club Soccer players
- » Premier players may not guest play on Silver Flight teams in SCHWAN'S USA CUP.
- » USA CUP Guest Player Program Fee: $125 ($250 for both tournaments)
