Schwan’s USA CUP International Youth Soccer Tournament

The Mundelein Magic U15 Girls are excited to be making a return trip to the 2013 Schwan’s USA CUP Weekend!  The girls are looking forward to seeing the friends they made from around the world again and meeting new teams. 

The girls are just one of several teams that participate in the tournament from the Mundelein Soccer Club (MSC). MSC is an organization dedicated to the development of competitive youth soccer for both boys and girls located in the village of Mundelein, Illinois. The club offers youth soccer programs starting at U8 and going through high school.

The MSC U15 Girls had an outstanding fall season finishing second overall in their IWSL division with a final record of 13-2-2 and 10 shutouts. They attribute much of their success to the camaraderie among the players on the team who had the opportunity to go to USA CUP in 2012. The level of competition in the tournament and the incredible sportsmanship of all the teams was a valuable experience for the players.

As the girls finish up their first season of high school soccer, they look forward to returning to club soccer and their soccer family. Practice will begin soon and preparations for the cup will be underway. See you on the fields in Blaine!
