Academia Camp Nou from Port-au-Prince, Haiti, plowed through their group-play opponents during their Schwan’s USA CUP debut, easily making their way to the U16 girls’ gold division championship on Saturday. But emerging from an early defeat and ready for redemption was Fusion FC of Plymouth, Minn., who’s only loss came from their Haitian opponents on the first day of the tournament.

Matt Lindberg etched his name into Schwan’s USA CUP history on Saturday afternoon with a last minute championship-winning strike. In a thrilling match-up of unbeaten juggernauts, Lindberg’s Eden Prairie Soccer Club (EPSC) team took home the U17 Boys Gold championship by a 2-1 final score line over Cedar Stars Academy from Orange County, New York.
