Christian Ramirez  •  Santa Ana, California  • Age 26 — Minnesota United FC Forward

Aptly nicknamed “Superman,” Ramirez is Minnesota United FC’s leading goal scorer. He has already struck 10 times in 19 league appearances, leading the charge for the Loons in their inaugural Major League Soccer season. His favorite superhero movie? The Avengers.

John Barreto  •  Leicester, England  • Referee

This is John’s first year at USA Cup. He loves to travel to the United States from England to help referee. Usually at this time he officiates at a tournament in Orlando, Fla., but this year decided to try something new and attend USA CUP.

John’s favorite thing so far about USA Cup is the hospitality. He says he’s very impressed with his travel arrangements and the transportation.

“I feel very looked after and taken care of from the USA Cup administration and referee staff,” he stated. Aside from being a referee, he also coaches back in Leicester for a U18 team, who he hopes to bring to the tournament next year.

Hannah McCurry  •  Mitchell, South Dakota  • Mitchell Ravens # 36 (plays every position except goalie)

Hannah loves being with her teammates and playing in the championship game. Hannah has been with her team since she was 6 year old, but this is her last tournament with the group, as she is moving to Victoria, Minn.
