Sv Dakota is the first club from Aruba to play in Schwan's USA CUP. The word Lifida is the name of the youth academy from the club, which was founded in 1947. In the Lifida academy there are over 100 talented soccer players. This summer they will be bringing a U17 and U19 boys team to USA CUP 2015.
Sv Dakota is operated by volunteers and the mission is to develop boys and girls soccer skills. In addition the club wants to make sure it has a positive impact on the players and families involved.
To improve soccer skills and experience, the club has started traveling with U17 and U19 age groups every other year as part of their Youth Development Program. The club traveled to Bonaire, small Carribean island country, in July 2011 and won a champions trophy at a tournament hosted by Atletico Tera Cora. The last three summers the team has traveled to Fort Lauderdale and Miami to participate in some international friendlies and took part in the camp to be scouted by professional teams from England.
The club is looking forward to a great experience at USA CUP 2015.
